Gerry's services are designed to promote deeper aliveness and cohesion within the body of woman. Through ceremonial tending, ritual, medicinal mentorship and somatic/relational coaching, she offers group spaces, retreats and one to one containers for women to drop deeper into the truth of who they are. All services, communications and resources offered are designed to help you explore, embody and navigate pathways toward growth and wholeness.

By accessing, purchasing or participating in any offering from Gerry Polland and Somatic Devotion - whether in person or online - you agree to the Terms outlined here. Your continued engagement with our services signifies your acceptance of these terms.

Refunds:

Refund requests can be made for up to seven days after first payment. These will be assessed on an individual basis and can be made to [email protected].

In exceptional circumstances, such as but not limited to conflict of interest, Gerry can decide to terminate the service before reaching completion. If this occurs, you will recieve timely gentle notice and a refund for any sessions that have not yet been provided.

In the case of voluntarily withdrawals or no-shows, refunds will not be offered.

If you enrol in a container/process and choose not to show up, refunds will not be offered.

Retreats

PLEASE NOTE: REFUNDS WILL NOT BE APPLIED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OTHER THAN IN INSTANCES WHERE YOUR SPACE HAS BEEN FILLED. THEN A REFUND WILL BE APPLIED LESS ANY CHARGES INCURRED AND A £200 ADMIN FEE.

If the retreat is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as an act of God or changes in national regulations, weather conditions etc a refund cannot be offered.

Travel insurance is recommended for all international guests.

Flights and transfers are not included in the total cost.

If we are forced to change or cancel a retreat due to circumstances within our control, you can choose to transfer to another retreat or receive a full refund.

Photography and Social Media:

During retreat, there may be promotional photos taken throughout. By attending, you agree to photographs of yourself being used in Somatic Devotion's promotional materials. The upmost care will be taken in what is captured and selected. They will be respectful and non-intrusive.

Acknowledgment of Services:

I understand that the services I will be receiving from Gerry Polland and any team/guest facilitators are not offered as a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health or medical conditions. I also understand that Gerry is not acting as a mental health counsellor or a medical professional.

Disclosure of Medical History:

I agree to disclose my medical history or previous incidences of mental illness to Gerry (including but not limited to complex trauma, psychiatric disorders, recent surgeries, pregnancy). Where applicable and upon request, I will ask for clearance from my medical or mental health professional before beginning to work with Gerry and the Somatic Devotion Team.

Personal Responsibility:

I understand and acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult my primary healthcare provider or a medical doctor if I have, or suspect I may have, any health concerns.

I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my well-being before, during and after my sessions - including my choices and decisions throughout the duration of the programme and upon completion.

I understand that this work is both somatic + shamanic in nature. Within this model, there are core

elements that include altered states of consciousness, energetic tending, invitations to be with touch,

breath and emotional tending.

I understand that all comments and ideas offered by Gerry are solely to aid me in achieving deeper attunement and aliveness. I can give my informed consent and hereby give such consent to Gerry to assist me in dropping deeper into my body and honouring what emerges. I understand the results are personal and not guaranteed.

I acknowledge that Gerry will treat all information shared as confidential, unless I provide written consent to release it. If I disclose abuse, neglect or an intention to harm self/other, I understand that Gerry is ethically and legally required to take the appropriate steps to ensure safety. I understand that if Gerry is ordered by a court of law to provide testimony, she will comply to the extent required by legislation.

I acknowledge I am engaging with tender and sensitive work that will take me into deeper relationship with all of my parts. I understand that I may require additional support beyond the sessions provided by Gerry Polland and Somatic Devotion.

I recognise that the use of technology carries inherent security risks and I accept these risks when engaging with email, text, phone, zoom and other digital platforms.

I understand that the practices offered are not a substitute for medical care and are not intended to provide prescriptions, medical recommendations or treatment for any conditions or disease.

If I choose to withdraw from a programme after it has begun, I remain responsible for paying the full programme fee on the dates set out in our agreement.

I understand that all materials, content and teaching provided are the academic property of Somatic Devotion and Gerry Polland. They may not be reproduced, distributed or shared without explicit written permissions.

By engaging with our services, you agree:

No Reproduction or Redistribution: You may not copy, distribute or share any materials provided. This includes sharing materials with friends, family or third parties.

No Commercial Use: You may not use Somatic Devotion's teachings, frameworks or practices for

commercial purposes.

Personal Use Only: Any unauthorised sharing, copying or repurposing of materials will be treated as a copyright breach and may result in legal action.

If you wish to reference or discuss aspects of our work publicly (e.g. social media, blogs, podcasts), you must credit Somatic Devotion or Gerry Polland in some way.

Release and Waiver:

I release, waive and forever discharge Gerry Polland / Somatic Devotion, along with any agents, employees, successors, personal representatives, executors and heirs from any and all claims, actions, demands or rights to compensation. This agreement is binding upon me and my heirs, executors, personal representatives, successors, assigns and agents.

Acknowledgment of Risk:

By participating in any mentorship, retreat, masterclass, trainings or related activities offered by Gerry Polland, the Somatic Devotion Team and any Guest Facilitators, you acknowledge that some activities may involve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual impact (by their very nature). These risks may include, but are not limited to, physical injury, illness or medical conditions, as well as emotional and psychological challenges.

Assumption of Risk:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Somatic Devotion, Gerry Polland, the Somatic Devotion Team and any Guest Facilitators shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to personal injury, emotional distress, loss of profits, loss of data or other damages arising from:

- Participation in any program, retreat, course, or coaching session.

- Any decisions made or actions taken by the client as a result of participating in these services.

- Delays, disruptions, or cancellations beyond our reasonable control.

I understand and accept full responsibility for any risks - whether known or unknown, expected or unexpected - that may arise from my participation in the programmes, including any loss, property damage, personal injury, up to and including death.

Release and Waiver:

You agree to release, waive, discharge and hold harmless Gerry Polland, the Somatic Devotion Team, Guest Facilitators, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation in this work.

Indemnification:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gerry Polland, the Somatic Devotion Team, Guest Facilitators, and their representatives from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney’s fees, that may result from your participation in the programmes.

The programmes offered through this website are not intended to replace professional medical or psychological advice. Before beginning any new physical, emotional or spiritual practise you should consult a qualified healthcare provider - particularly if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. It is your responsibility to share any relevant health information.

You accept full responsibility for yourself, including any outcomes or experiences that arise from engaging in the work offered. By accessing, purchasing or participating in any services including in person events, online work or self guided materials, you agree to the terms outlined in the Hold Harmless Agreement.
